Mazzy Star have shared their Record Store Day release, "I'm Less Here". Scroll down to hear it. The track has previously been performed live under the name "It Speaks Of Distance". It was released today on 7 inch vinyl for Record Store Day, marking its first release despite dating back to 2000. The b-side to the record is also a new song, titled "Things'. The vinyl is pressed on "coke bottle clear" vinyl and is limited to 3000 copies. Last year, Mazzy Star released their first album in 17 years, Seasons Of Your Day.

Neil Young has released his long-awaited new album A Letter Home on Record Store Day [April 19, 2014]. The album, which was produced by Jack White is available now from Third Man records and select record shops. A Letter Home was recorded at White's Third Man studios and consists entirely of cover versions.

Jack White is set to record and release a record in one day to celebrate this year's Record Store Day. White will record the title track from his second solo album "Lazaretto" onstage in the 'blue room' during a show at his Third Man Records base in Nashville at 10am local time, recording a direct-to-acetate limited edition live version.

Nirvana, Paul Weller and Oasis are among the artists who have contributed releases to Record Store Day 2014. Paul Weller will release new material on a seven-inch, with the single limited to just 2,500 copies. Meanwhile, Nirvana's 'Pennyroyal Tea' will be released on the same format and Oasis' debut single 'Supersonic' will be re-released on 12-inch. REM will release two Unplugged concerts for Record Store Day 2014. The band will put out Unplugged: The Complete 1991 And 2001 Sessions on April 19, Rolling Stone reports.

Suede are to release their "lost" single, "Let Go", on 7" vinyl on Record Store Day 2014 (april 19). The track was originally issued as a CD single in Sweden in 1999. The Record Store Day 7” single (backed with "Heroin") coincides the release of the Suede 7” Singles Box Set on April 14, but will not be included in it. David Bowie will release two limited edition picture discs on Record Store Day next month. The annual celebration of music shops will take place on April 19 and Bowie has outlined plans to release a 7" picture disc of "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide" in the UK, while North American fans will be able to purchase the single "1984" on 7" picture disc.

Neil Young is reportedly reissuing his live album, Time Fades Away, on Record Store Day. The album, from 1973, has long been out of print and has never been released on CD. In 2010, Time Fades Away was listed No 1 in Uncut's 50 Great Lost Albums – a chart if records that were unavailable new or as legal downloads at the time of writing.
