Tickets for The Rolling Stones O2 Arena shows in August went on sale this morning at 9am and were completely sold-out by half past.

The band announced the UK leg of their ongoing Bigger Bang Tour last week and public response meant that the London shows were increased to two, on August 21 and 23.

The Stones date at Dublin’s Slane Castle also went on sale this morning and also sold-out almost immediately. The Slane Castle show will be the group’s first open-air show in Ireland in 25 years.

As previously reported, the Stones also play the Isle Of Wight Festival on June 10 – their first headlining festival appearence ever.
