Thanks for all your responses here, folks. We’ve nearly got all the initial votes in from our judges – only Edwyn Collins to come, I think.

Which means that I’ll be doing the maths in the next couple of days or so and finding out the eight albums which will make up the first Uncut Music Award shortlist. Exciting!
