The Lincoln Center in New York is to host a tribute to Leonard Cohen, who died on November 7.

The event โ€“ dubbed an โ€˜informal gatheringโ€™ โ€“ is due to take place between 12pm and 4pm outside the venue in Hearst Plaza.

The event will feature recordings of Cohenโ€™s vast body of work, chosen by friends and fans. There are no speakers or live performances.
