Iconic German synth band Kraftwerk are set to play an eight-night residency at New Yorkโ€™s Museum of Modern Art in April.

The band will appear in โ€˜Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8โ€™ from April 10-17 in The Donald B. and Catherine C Marron Atrium at the museum. They will play each of their albums live, in order, accompanied by a โ€˜3D visualizationโ€™ of the record. Kraftwerk will also play additional songs from other albums at each show.

Kraftwerk last performed in the UK in 2009, at Bestival and the Manchester International Festival. At the latter they appeared at the Manchester Velodrome and whilst playing โ€˜Tour de Franceโ€™ were accompanied by members of the GB cycling team, who cycled around the track along with the music.
