ā€œIā€™m cousin to the world,ā€ says Jeff Tweedy. ā€œI donā€™t feel like Iā€™m a blood relation, but maybe Iā€™m a cousin by marriage.ā€

The band’s first album since Cruel Country, Cousin has been produced by Cate Le Bon. ā€œThe amazing thing about Wilco is they can be anything,ā€ Le Bon says. ā€œThey’re so mercurial, and thereā€™s this thread of authenticity that flows through everything they do, whatever the genre, whatever the feel of the record. There arenā€™t many bands who are able to, this deep into a successful career, successfully change things up.ā€
