Glaswegian singer Donovan, one of the most popular recording artists of the late 60s, has had to cancel his forthcoming UK concert tour, due to take place in April.

No reason has been given for the cancellations, and ticket refunds are available from the venues or ticket providers.

A spokesperson for Donovan released this message: “We are sad to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances Donovan has unfortunately had to cancel his 2007 tour – there are no plans at this time to reschedule.”

Last month, in conjunction with surreal filmmaker David Lynch, Donovan performed a short series of gigs in Washington D.C, New York and Los Angeles – supporting the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace.
