As promised, The Raconteurs have made the first video single from their new album ‘Consolers Of The Lonely’ available on their website.
‘Salute Your Solution’ is available to watch on the band’s website here: www.theraconteurs.com. The video is also available as a widget that fans can embed onto their own HTML web pages.
Directed by photographer Autumn de Wilde, the black and white promo film features over 2,500 photographs of Jack White, Brendan Benson and co. collated to look like a live action sequence.
The Raconteurs released their second album yesterday (March 25) despite only completing recording at the start of the month.
The rush release follow-up to 2006’s ‘Broken Boy Soldiers’ features 14 tracks, was to ensure that the album would be “available everywhere” for everyone at the same time.
