Part blaxploitation comedy and part Altman-esque ensemble drama, the huge cast includes Antonio “Huggy Bear” Fargas and, in a brief cameo, Richard Pryor. Norman Whitfield’s score is a trash classic, but the story’s muddled and full of dated caricatures.
